KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Silver Alert was issued Thursday evening for a missing 68-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri.

The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department said Cornell Farrakhan-Bey was last seen at 3137 Grand Avenue between October 15 and 16, 2024.

Farrakhan-Bey is a man, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds, with a bald head and brown eyes. Authorities said he was last seen wearing a brown lab coat.

The missing man suffers from dementia and is hard of hearing, according to police.

KCPD said he was last seen at 4 p.m. on October 15, 2024, in the area of ​​31st and Grand Avenue. When his vehicle arrived at his home on October 16, 2024 to transport him to an appointment at the VA hospital, he was not there.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately.
