An URGENT search has been launched for an 18-year-old woman who went missing in the middle of the night.

Libby Brodie, from Bootle, was last seen in Ranelagh Street, Liverpool city center, at around 1.30am this morning.

Libby is described as being around 5 feet 10 inches tall, of a slim build with shoulder-length blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a pink coat, gray hooded sweatshirt and black leggings.

The missing young man, aged 18, was also wearing black sneakers and a black bag.

The teenager has been missing from his home since yesterday, Wednesday October 9.

Libby is known to frequent the Southport, Huyton, West Derby, St Helens, Warrington and Manchester areas.

Merseyside Police have launched “ongoing extensive inquiries to trace her”.

It is not yet known where the girl was heading when she was last seen in Ranelagh Street.

A force spokesperson said: “We are appealing for help to find Libby Brodie, 18, missing from Bootle.

“She was reportedly last seen in Ranelagh Street, Liverpool city center, at around 1.30am.

“She has links to the Southport, Huyton, West Derby, St Helens, Warrington and Manchester areas.

“Please forward any sightings of Latia via our form or any other information to @MerPolCC or 101.”
