Unicommerce supports Fabindia’s e-commerce activities in stores and marketplaces

Fabindia, a consumer lifestyle platform, has partnered with Unicommerce, an e-commerce SaaS platform, to manage its growing business operations across online and offline channels and streamline the e-commerce supply chain.

As a conduit for thousands of rural artisans across India, Fabindia continues to revolutionize traditional dressing by fusing it with modern, urban tastes.

Fabindia has implemented the Unicommerce technology stack, comprising omni-channel order management, warehouse management system, and omni-channel retail management system, to streamline order processing for a range of products listed on its website, across multiple marketplaces, as well as over 100 physical stores located in the country.

Fabindia will use Unicommerce technology to process orders from various online channels and offline stores. By enabling ship-from-store for orders placed on online platforms, Fabindia will be able to assign the order to the store location closest to the customer’s delivery address, which will speed up deliveries to end customers.

The partnership will further enable Fabindia to synchronize inventory on an hourly basis to ensure no order is missed, as well as efficiently manage customer returns. This will further help the brand in improving the overall customer experience after purchase.

Currently, the brand manages a catalog of 1,75,000 items across various channels, fulfilling orders from over 100 stores and 4 warehouses using the Unicommerce platform.
