BMW of North America announces the appointment of a new CEO.

Woodcliff Lake, NJ – June 28, 2024…. BMW of North America today announced changes to its leadership team with the appointment of Andreas Kindler as the company’s next executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective August 1, 2024. Kindler succeeds Raymond Wittmann, who returns to BMW Group headquarters in Munich to lead the strategy department corporate.

In his new position, Kindler will be responsible for BMW of North America’s financial operations, including treasury and control oversight, risk management, treasury, tax, procurement, corporate strategy, compliance and facilities management. Kindler will report directly to Sebastian Mackensen, president and CEO of BMW of North America, and will serve as a member of the BMW of North America board of directors.

Kindler, who has a nearly 25-year career with the BMW Group, previously worked in the U.S. as Planning and Reporting Manager at BMW of North America from 2006 to 2010.
