Putin and the acting president of Iran discuss bilateral cooperation in key sectors

TEHRAN – Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iran’s acting president Mohammad Mokhber held a telephone conversation to discuss strengthening bilateral energy cooperation and implementing large-scale infrastructure projects.

According to a Sputnik report, “President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the acting head of the executive branch of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Mokhber. They discussed further mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in all key areas.”

The leaders highlighted the successful development of their countries’ energy cooperation and progress in implementing significant infrastructure initiatives.

In addition, Putin expressed his best wishes for a successful presidential election in Iran and expressed optimism about the further development of friendly relations between the two nations.
