Blackmagic Camera app now available on Android » YugaTech

Two months after being announced at NAB 2024, the Blackmagic Camera app is now available on Android devices.

The app offers professional recording features, as well as compatibility with other Blackmagic Design video production tools. In other words, it simplifies shooting with streamlined interfaces and automation.

The app is also free, which is great considering other apps aimed at photography come with premium pricing.

The Android version of the app will have a similar interface to its iOS counterpart, including an overlay that shows users information about their photos, such as focus and exposure.

In addition, users also have quick access to settings by tapping on the HUD. The Blackmagic Camera app can capture footage and send it directly to a dedicated cloud service. This is a nice touch in terms of accessibility in terms of editing and general post-production.
