The Ronaldo team has been banned from Twitch

Stable Ronaldo is one of the most influential stars on Twitch. Today, his channel mysteriously disappeared without a trace — Here’s everything we know about who Ronaldo’s stable is, why he was banned, and when he might return to the platform.

Stable Ronaldo, also known as Ron or FaZe Ron, is a Twitch streamer, gamer, and internet personality who is a member of the content creation group FaZe Clan.. He is well known for his Fortnite content and has one of the most popular Twitch accounts on the platform. In 2024, Ronaldo participated in the FaZe Clan subathon, which caused his Twitch subscriber count and internet fame to skyrocket. Ronaldo is also a Fortnite esports player, competing for NRG from 2020 to 2022 before joining the official FaZe Clan roster.

The Ronaldo stable was banned from Twitch on October 19, 2024. The ban took place around 9:05 a.m. EST.

When users try to visit Ronaldo’s channel, they receive a disturbing message stating “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.“They can’t view their profile, search for clips, or watch previous streams.

Ronaldo was banned from Twitch after posting gaming footage from online casino site Stake. Twitch is firm on its gaming policy, which bans “unsafe slots, roulette, and dice sites.” On its official terms of use website, the platform notes that “any streaming of listed sites containing slots, roulette and dice games and not licensed in the United States or other jurisdictions offering consumer protections” is banned. Along with Rollbit and Duelbits, Stake is mentioned as the offending platform. This rule came into effect on October 18, 2022 – Ronaldo’s ban comes just one day after his second birthday.

We don’t know exactly when Ronaldo will be lifted. Violations on Twitch tend to follow a tiered pattern, with users first receiving a warning and having the content removed. After this first violation, Twitch will suspend users who repeat violations for up to thirty days. Finally, Twitch can outright ban users from the platform if the offenses are too serious.

Ronaldo’s intention and the circumstances behind the broadcast may factor into Twitch’s decision.
