Sportking launches e-commerce platform

Sportking, a leading vertically integrated textile brand, has launched an e-commerce platform as part of its country-wide expansion plan.

The company has a strong presence in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana and has over 100 stores spread across these states.

With the launch, Sportking aims to reach out to a wider audience and is expecting high sales figures from its new online store across India.

Commenting on the launch, Munish Avasthi, Managing Director, Sportking, said in a statement: “Over 27 years, Sportking has forged deep relationships with communities across North India. Founded in 1977, Sportking has grown from a one-man operation to a multi-billion dollar enterprise under the leadership of three generations of the Avasthi family.
