MFinder phone tracking app surpasses 1 million downloads

NEW YORK, July 1, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — DataUniverse’s phone tracking app MFinder has surpassed one million downloads on Google Play. This milestone was achieved just three months after expanding its marketing efforts North America to contain India, Indonesiaand other markets, after a period of service stabilization. A DataUniverse representative stated: “Since the launch of the app, we have seen significant demand for lost phone recovery services among Android users. We are now expanding to over 70 countries and are actively promoting this service for wider adoption.”

MFinder is an Android-only app designed to help users quickly locate their lost mobile phone and protect their important data. The app is easy to use: users simply install it in advance and register with their Google account, completing a few simple settings to get started.

In the event that a phone is lost, users can log in to the MFinder website, and the phone will automatically go into Lost and Locked mode to prevent unauthorized access. A message and emergency contact information will be displayed on the phone’s lock screen to help with recovery.

The location of your lost phone is tracked and recorded every 30 minutes. Whenever this happens, photos are taken using the phone’s front and rear cameras, making it easier to pinpoint its exact location. If someone tries to tamper with your phone, the app will detect volume button presses to track your location and take photos to help identify the finder. To notify nearby people of their phone’s location, users can use the siren and text-to-speech (TTS) feature, which activates the alarm and broadcasts messages at maximum volume, even if the phone is on vibrate or silent mode.

MFinder also allows users to remotely activate their phone’s cameras and microphone, allowing them to observe their surroundings in real time and request immediate help from those nearby. If there are concerns about leaking personal data, financial data or other important data, the necessary files can be backed up and if the phone is considered irreversible, the data protection feature can be used to erase all data from the phone.

MFinder is available as a subscription service and currently offers a 14-day free trial. More information can be found on the Mfinder website or on Google Play:
