The Capital Region Chamber of Commerce attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Pearce Renewables, the nation’s largest independent renewable energy service provider. They provide innovative and industry-leading service solutions for critical infrastructure in the renewable energy and telecommunications industries. They are expanding into the Capital Region and Schenectady to partner with other major providers of wind and other renewable energy products. The Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority was instrumental in organizing support to bring Pearce Renewables to the city. Their choice of downtown Schenectady allows them to be in close proximity to other major wind and renewable energy providers in the region, including GE Vernova here in Schenectady.

President and CEO Mark Egan celebrated the ribbon cutting with Schenectady Mayor Gary McCarthy, Assemblyman Santabarbara, Senator Jim Tedisco and friends.
