Consult by Momentum is proud to announce that Gavin Gehlig has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Gehlig’s career has been characterized by proactive leadership, strategic vision, and a keen eye for growth opportunities. Most recently, as Founder and CEO of GrowthHouse, he spearheaded initiatives that significantly accelerated the company’s growth and transformation. Under his leadership, GrowthHouse has experienced significant expansion in its customer base and sales force, maintaining strong market positions, and achieving impressive milestones.

Prior to joining GrowthHouse, Gehlig was Executive Head of Retail & Institutional Solutions for NMG Benefits South Africa, where he led strategic planning and sales operations, significantly increasing revenue streams and team alignment across multiple channels.

Gehlig admits to having an insatiable appetite for knowledge and is particularly fascinated by the potential and implications of advances in artificial intelligence, trying to keep abreast of these developments and how they impact the financial services sector in particular.

Next month, Gehlig will complete an MBA with a concentration in marketing from Hult International Business School. Hannes van den Berg, Executive Head of Momentum Advice and Gehlig’s predecessor, says Gehlig’s academic achievements, distinguished professional record and strategic and ethical leadership style make him ideally suited to lead the company to new heights.
