AUBURN — Police executed two search warrants and arrested an Auburn man Friday as part of ongoing drug trafficking investigations, officials said.

Jose Mota, 39, was arrested after the Auburn Police Department’s Proactive Community Enforcement Unit executed search warrants at 124 Goff St. and 21 Swett Ave., according to the department’s Facebook page.

Mota was charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and illegal possession of a firearm.

He was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn, where his bond was set at $25,000 cash, according to police.

Between the two addresses, police seized 27 grams of crack cocaine, 6 1/2 grams of cocaine hydrochloride, 15 ecstasy pills, scales, packaging materials and $500 in suspected drug proceeds, according to those responsible.

Police said they also seized a handgun and a ballistic vest at one of the addresses.

The arrest and drug seizure followed an investigation that culminated in a search and arrest Tuesday.

Charles “Devin” Bradrick, 37, of Auburn, was arrested after a search of 134 South Main St., where police discovered 14 grams of crack cocaine, 2 grams of cocaine and 133 fentanyl pills “pressed to look like prescription oxycodone pills,” officials said. said. Police also discovered drug paraphernalia and approximately $1,300 in suspected drug proceeds.

Bradrick was charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and multiple counts of unlawful possession of drugs.

He was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail, where his bond was set at $20,000 cash, police said.
