Atlas Copco acquires engineering company Mont-Tech | Acquisitions

Czech engineering company Mont-Tech has been acquired by the Atlas Copco Group.

Mont-Tech is based in Brno, Czech Republic, and offers customized engineering solutions for assembly automation. The company has 27 employees and reported revenues of €3.5 million ($3.8 million) in 2023.

Confirmed today (4t Following the acquisition, Mont-Tech will become part of Atlas Copco’s Automotive Tools and Assembly Systems division, part of the Industrial Technique business area.

Henrik Elmin, President of the Industrial Technique business unit at Atlas Copco, said: “With this acquisition, we will further strengthen our competence and expertise in assembly automation and better serve our customers in this area and geographic region.”

The purchase price was not disclosed.

At the beginning of this week (2and In July, Atlas Copco also announced the acquisition of Ecuadorian company Emcovele. Emcovele, with headquarters in Quito and Guayaquil, has 49 employees and sells and services compressed air technologies.
