Suraj Pal Singh, also known as ‘Bhole Baba’, broke his silence on the Hathras Stampede tragedy on July 6. He said he was deeply saddened by the incident. He added that he had requested the committee to take care of the relatives of the victim. He said, “I am deeply saddened by the incident of July 2. May God give us the strength to bear this pain. Please have faith in the government and administration. I believe that no one who created this chaos will be spared. Through my lawyer AP Singh, I have requested the committee members to stand with the bereaved families and the affected and provide lifelong support to them.”
