CBA assesses 21 applications under special regulatory regime

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) received 21 applications to test innovative products in the areas of virtual assets, payment services, insurance sector and other financial markets under its special regulatory regime,

The CBA is currently considering these applications.

The special regulatory regime established by the Central Bank allows financial institutions and FinTech organizations to test innovative financial services with real customers in a controlled and specified period. This initiative aims to accelerate the implementation of these services on the market, increase their competitiveness and eliminate various obstacles.
