MARION – A statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a missing Marion man.

Merrill Andrews

The Marion Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Merrill Andrews. Andrews is an 83-year-old white man, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 170 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen at 4 a.m. on Sunday, October 20, wearing a beige baseball cap, blue coat, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
