Presbyterian Support Central Uses Spark to Ease Mobility Issues for Frontline Workers

With more than 1,000 staff working there, including nurses, medical assistants, cleaners, counsellors and social workers, the burden was significant.

To address this challenge, Spark partnered with PSC to implement a mobile device management solution that would streamline the user experience and help reduce the burden on the IT team.

Frontline workers can now connect without worrying about slow device issues, while the productivity gains have allowed PSC’s small digital and ICT team to focus on core tasks with the support of Spark.

Liz Urquhart, general manager of managed services at Spark, said the project is evidence of Spark’s commitment to supporting customers and helping them increase productivity and improve business outcomes.

“What sets Modern Mobility apart is our comprehensive service management, where we deploy, configure, refresh, repair or replace devices, as well as offer end-user support and device lifecycle management,” she added.

PSC provides services to communities in Taranaki, Whanganui, Horowhenua, Manawatu, Wairarapa and greater Wellington.
