Maryland is a small state with big goals. One of our greatest aspirations is to transition to an all-renewable energy future. As drivers of Maryland’s ambitions, counties are often at the forefront of the debate and implementation. The MACo A Brighter Tomorrow – The Future of Maryland Energy Policy panel invites prominent energy leaders in Annapolis to discuss their views on the next few decades.

Description: Over the past several legislative sessions, the Maryland General Assembly has shown a high level of interest in passing groundbreaking renewable energy legislation. The Brighter Tomorrow Act of 2024 was the latest and largest in a series of ambitious energy bills. This session examines recent legislation, policy implementation, and looks at what to expect in the future.
