The American Heart Association’s annual Tri-County Heart Ball, held Thursday at the Eastwood Event Center, raised more than $273,000 and set an attendance record with 350 people.

Christina Dascenzo, chair of the 2024 event, said “It’s incredible to have a record turnout for an event to support a cause that is so close to our hearts. »

She said the heart ball raised $23,000 more in sponsorships than the previous year.
