Lagardère Travel Retail makes key appointments to support ambitious strategic plan

Lagardère Travel Retail has strengthened its organization with new hires. The goal is to increase efficiency through global coordination, while maintaining one of the key elements of the company’s success: local empowerment.

Frédéric Chevalier, currently Regional COO for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, is appointed Deputy CEO. He will ensure a strong focus on operations and growth while continuing to work on the company’s Transformation Plan initiated during the COVID period in 2020.

To increase efficiency and provide better support to countries, two divisions have been created. The first will focus on understanding traveler needs and market evolution to better define formats, commercial strategies and offers. It will be led by Lylian Vignau, currently CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Duty Free Global, who has been appointed Chief Commercial & Digital Officer.

The second division will drive operational excellence and quality across the Group’s retail and foodservice operations to strengthen the company’s position as a recognized market leader in customer service and in-store fulfillment. It will be led by Charlotte Delmas, currently VP Transformation, who has been appointed Chief Operational Performance Officer. In addition to this new role, Charlotte will also serve as Regional Chief Operating Officer for Europe, overseeing operations in four European countries.

Both Vignau and Delmas will join the Lagardère Travel Retail Executive Committee.

• Lucio Rossetto, Regional Operations Director, Europe

• Lylian Vignau, Commercial and Digital Director

• Séverine Lanthier, Chief Strategy and Development Officer and Regional Operations Director, Asia

• Vincent Romet, CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail France and COO of the Middle East and Africa region

The company said its newly appointed Executive Committee and associated teams will play a key role in delivering Lagardère Travel Retail’s ambitious strategic plan and maintaining the company’s leadership position in a competitive industry.
