Venkaiah Naidu praises the contribution of cooperative banks to banking sector

Former vice president M. Venkaiah Naidu praised cooperative banks for their contribution to the banking sector.

Attending the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Kanakamahalakshmi Cooperative Bank Limited on Tuesday as the chief guest, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu lauded the bank for its contribution to social causes under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) besides expanding banking services. He said India will celebrate its centenary of Independence in 2047. He said that the aim of all Indians should be to transform India into a superpower by then.
