A body has been found during the search for missing mother Victoria Taylor in North Yorkshire.

The 34-year-old mother-of-one went missing from her home in Malton on September 30, with her disappearance sparking a major police search.

North Yorkshire Police said a body was found in the River Derwent at around 11.45am BST on Tuesday.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, officers said, but Ms Taylor’s family had been informed and were being supported by specialist officers.
