Galaxy AI to be available on 200 million Samsung devices in 2024

Earlier this year, Samsung introduced Galaxy AI, a suite of AI-powered features, with the Galaxy S24. Those AI features were released on more advanced devices a few weeks later. Samsung has now promised to release Galaxy AI on 200 million devices this year.

Galaxy AI to launch on 200 million devices by end of 2024

At today’s Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung announced that Galaxy AI will be available on 200 million devices globally by the end of 2024.

Since Galaxy AI has already been released for existing compatible devices, we think Samsung is counting on possible sales figures for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra.

If you don’t know what Galaxy AI is and how it works, watch our detailed video below.

Galaxy AI was released for several high-end phones and tablets (Galaxy S series, Galaxy Tab S, and Galaxy Z) with the One UI 6.1 update a few months ago. Samsung will add more features to Galaxy AI with the One UI 6.1.1 update for compatible foldable phones and tablets. This update could also be released for Galaxy S series phones in the next few weeks or months.

Some of the new Galaxy AI features that Samsung showed off at today’s event include AI-powered reply suggestions for messaging apps and Drawing Assist in Samsung Notes. Drawing Assist is the ability to draw a sketch over an existing image to turn that drawing into a realistic painting.
