Atlas Copco signs agreement to acquire Anhui NOY Technologies | Acquisitions

Atlas Copco has signed an agreement to acquire Anhui NOY Technologies, a Chinese manufacturer of vacuum helium leak detectors.

Announced today (10t (July) This acquisition will make Anhui NOY Technologies part of Atlas Copco’s Scientific Vacuum division, part of the Vacuum Technique business area.

Anhui NOY Technologies, headquartered in Hefei City, Anhui Province, has 78 employees and 2023 revenues of approximately $16.8 million.

Geert Follen, President of Atlas Copco’s Vacuum Technology business unit, said that the acquisition will strengthen Atlas Copco’s core technology for helium leak detection.

He added: “Anhui NOY Technologies was founded in 2016 and has experienced rapid growth, initially serving the electric vehicle battery market and diversifying into other markets in recent years.

The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of 2024. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Less than a week ago (4t July 2024) — Atlas Copco announced the acquisition of Czech engineering company Mont-Tech.

Mont-Tech is based in Brno, Czech Republic, and offers customized engineering solutions for assembly automation. The company has 27 employees and reported revenues of €3.5 million ($3.8 million) in 2023.
