I have a huge problem with the knife market. I subscribe to the mantra that if you have three high-quality knives—a chef’s knife, a serrated knife, and a paring knife—you’ll have everything you need, as long as you take care of them. People, on the other hand, prefer big, bulky blocks of steak knives that you never use and ten different knives that all do the same thing, and that’s where the Miracle Blade III comes in. The knife set is very ugly and unnecessary, but it’ll do the job if you’re desperate to cut a pineapple on the fly.
