BBC Radio 1 – New Radio 1 Music Show with Jack Saunders – New Radio 1 Music Live in Halifax

All tickets are issued by SPEKTRIX (the venue’s ticketing service provider) on behalf of Square Chapel Arts Center and the BBC (the event organiser). All ticket holders are subject to the terms and conditions stated herein and displayed on the website of the ticketing service provider (SPEKTRIX) and on the premises of the event venue (Square Chapel “SC”), which are subject to change at the discretion of the event organizer. Use of a ticket implies acceptance of the following conditions:

  1. The minimum age to participate in the event is 18 years old.

  1. The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased per person for this event is 6. Where a restriction applies to the number of tickets that can be purchased (whether per person, per credit card or per household) and the tickets are purchased beyond this number. number, the BBC and/or Square Chapel may cancel excess tickets.

  1. The BBC and/or Square Chapel reserve the right to cancel ticket bookings which they (if any) reasonably suspect have been made fraudulently.

  1. Tickets cannot be sold, exchanged or offered for sale; and may not be used as a prize or for any other promotional or commercial purpose by any organization except the BBC.

  1. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase. The BBC and/or Square Chapel cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

  1. All event attendees will need a valid ticket for entry. You may be asked to provide photo identification, for example: passport, driving license, national identity card, British citizen card.

  1. Please note that this is a standing room only event; no places will be available. Seating and wheelchair spaces are only available to those less able to stand and disabled customers, and must be arranged with SC in advance of the event, in accordance with their Disabled Access Terms and Conditions. These places are limited and operate on a first come, first served basis. Please visit the Square Chapels accessibility page for more information. The BBC is not responsible for the content of third party websites.

  1. Please note that, for your safety and comfort, the following items are strictly prohibited from being brought into SC and persons and personal property will be subject to inspection/search for: All food and beverages purchased outside of SC , offensive weapons and drugs (including legal drugs). and other controlled substances and anything that might interfere with the event or others’ enjoyment of the event, or jeopardize public safety.

  1. Large bags (A4 format or larger) are not allowed inside the room.

  1. People attending the event are responsible for their own valuables. The BBC and/or SC accept no responsibility for any lost, damaged or stolen personal property.

  1. No re-entry will be permitted during the event.

  1. Unauthorized professional photography or use of professional recording equipment is prohibited, and zoom lenses, audio-visual or cinema devices will not be permitted on site.

  1. Smoking and vaping are prohibited anywhere inside SC.

  1. Alcohol will be on sale at this show. If you are under 25 years old, you may be asked to provide identification as proof of age.

  1. The BBC and/or SC, at their discretion, reserve the right to refuse entry or eject a ticket holder for behavior likely to cause damage, injury, harm, nuisance; or failure to comply with the reasonable request of the BBC or SC; or who does not respect these conditions; or otherwise where a ticket holder behaves in an unlawful, anti-social or aggressive manner, and may on occasion be required to carry out security searches of people and/or personal property to ensure the safety of customers. Any person refusing to be searched by a steward or anyone acting on their behalf will be refused entry or removed from the venue and may be reported to the police.

  1. The BBC reserves the right to cancel this event at any time, if it deems it necessary and if circumstances beyond its control arise. The BBC also reserves the right to modify or change the program and programming without prior notice.

  1. In the event of cancellation or change to programming, the BBC and/or SC will not be liable for payment of any compensation or for any loss of money and/or expenses incurred. While every effort is made to ensure the full advertised bill performs, this ticket is intended for a showcase event and not for any specific artist or band. In the event of cancellation of the entire event, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded via SPEKTRIX, and the ticket booking fee will not be refunded.

  1. If the event is postponed, the BBC will honor the ticket for the rescheduled event. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure the date and time of any rescheduled event.

  1. BBC Radio 1’s New Music Live show will be filmed and recorded for use across BBC platforms. Ticket holders give their consent to the use of their real or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video, photograph and/or audio recording and /or audiovisual of this event and/or any element thereof, in all media worldwide. They also consent to being filmed by SC, police or security personnel in an effort to help keep customers safe and prevent crime.

  1. Special effects of strobe lighting, lasers and smoke may be used at any time during the event at SC.

  1. The BBC will not be liable for any loss, damage, costs or expenses except in the case of death or personal injury caused by a negligent act or omission on the part of the BBC.
