Police search property in connection with disappearance of Lincoln woman

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Department has provided an update on the disappearance of 31-year-old Jerica Hamre Tuesday afternoon.

Based on information gathered during the investigation, investigators from LPD, the Nebraska State Patrol and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, along with several K9 units, are searching a property near Overton, Nebraska. Authorities began searching the area on Monday.

Police said on 10/11 that the search was in the area of ​​River Lodge Outfitters, just south of Overton near the Platte River.

Police say evidence suggests Hamre may have last been near Arapahoe, Holdrege, Overton and Lexington.

Hamre was reported missing by her family under suspicious circumstances on June 3.
