Bold Commerce Expands Management Team, Adds Role, Names New CFO

Bold Commerce, a checkout technology company, has expanded its leadership team and named a new CFO. Steven Guevarra has been named CFO, replacing Stuart Henrickson, who left the company. Brandon Biggs has been named head of sales and agency partnerships, a new position.

Bold said the hiring of Biggs, whom the company describes as an e-commerce and technology veteran, is part of an effort to build strategic partnerships.

Bold said in a statement that Guevarra brings “more than two decades of financial experience and expertise in scaling high-growth technology companies. As Bold’s CFO, Guevarra will lead the strategy behind the company’s investments, strategic partnerships and continued financial growth.”

Guevarra previously served as chief financial officer of Westgen Technologies Inc.

Bold said Biggs will lead the company’s sales and partnerships teams, “and expand the Build with Bold partner program to make compounding more accessible to agencies.” Biggs previously held roles at Comviva, Emarsys and Dot Digital.

Since its founding in 2012, Bold Commerce has evolved from an app development company to a key e-commerce player. Starting its journey with a mission to expand platform capabilities and deliver exceptional user experiences, Bold Commerce initially focused on supporting brands that sought growth through innovative technology.

But as the e-commerce landscape changed with the industry’s adoption of Composable Commerce, Bold Commerce saw an opportunity. This emerging model allowed brands to build a technology stack tailored to their specific needs, a significant departure from the “one-size-fits-all” solutions prevalent in the market. In response, Bold Commerce elevated its solution offering with a third-generation checkout technology designed to empower brands to create personalized checkout experiences.

Dubbed the “Checkout Power Trio,” Bold’s latest innovation underscores the company’s commitment to maximizing customer profitability. Designed with a compositional architecture, Bold Checkout integrates seamlessly with any commerce system.

Today, Bold Commerce solutions are used by leading omni-channel retailers including Vera Bradley, Harry Rosen and Staples Canada, as well as numerous new direct-to-consumer brands.
