Amazon Launches New £100 Gadget

A FEW DAYS BEFORE Prime Day, Amazon introduced a new gadget that caught my attention because my Fire TV desperately needs it.

Amazon’s new Fire TV soundbar will cost £119.99, but is available to pre-order now for a reduced price of £99.99.

Amazon kicked off the week with a flurry of Prime Day deals for free shoppers, days before the sale officially begins (Tuesday, July 16 to Wednesday, July 17).

Of particular note is the Fire TV Soundbar, which has made its UK debut following a successful launch overseas in the US.

To encourage customers, the product can be purchased at a special promotional price.

As an owner of a 32-inch Fire TV Series 2, I was interested in this solution because sound quality is a priority for TVs in this price range.

The soundbar features dual speakers that deliver richer sound, clearer voices, and deeper bass, all neatly housed in a slim, compact body measuring just over 60cm.

While it’s not the latest and greatest in tech, it’s simple to use and affordable, which is in keeping with the simplicity of most Amazon gadgets.

I’m particularly curious to see how 3D surround sound and Dolby Audio will perform, as they promise to enhance the audio experience when using Fire TV, making it more immersive.

I have a Fire TV series 2 and had to move it to the end of the bed to hear it better

The launch of the Fire TV soundbar finally addresses the sound quality issue that has been a persistent concern for Amazon Fire TV users.

One user went so far as to describe the Fire TV’s built-in audio as “terrible,” adding, “I have to use Bluetooth headphones and change the batteries every few days. Never mind, I managed to pair it with the soundbar I already had.”

Another shared this opinion, saying: “The image and sound quality are below average.”

I’m not such a harsh critic: after all, these are supposed to be cheap, smart TVs that give you access to a ton of streaming options, and in my case, they deliver on that promise.

If you want the highest quality sound on your TV, you need to be prepared to spend several hundred pounds or even four figures.

Despite this, I spent £250 on a 32-inch Fire TV from Amazon and after using it for a while I have to admit that the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired.

I even moved the TV closer to the bed to improve sound clarity.

So it’s no surprise that I’m thrilled that Amazon has released the Fire TV Soundbar, which will allow me to affordably upgrade my audio system.

The special promotional offer is valid for a limited time only and will end on July 29 at 9:00 AM: the first pre-orders will start shipping on the same day.

Meanwhile, there’s a lot going on over at Amazon as the 48-hour Prime sale approaches.

Prime Day is coming! Here are the deals I’m predicting

Prime Day is just around the corner, which means there’s never been a better time to grab an Amazon Kindle e-reader at great prices during the 48-hour sale, says Tom Tyers, a freelance reporter for The Sun.

As always, Prime members are in for some amazing deals during this year’s Prime Day sale.

Wondering if the discounts are worth it? I assure you, some of them are worth taking advantage of, especially when it comes to Amazon Kindle e-readers.

The offer includes both the simple and practical Kindle, as well as the more advanced version of Scribe, equipped with additional functions and enabling note-taking.

I am no stranger to e-book readers, I have personally tested the Kindle, but I can say one thing: if you are looking for an inexpensive pocket library, this is it. This device will also prove itself as a worthy travel companion.

While July may be a bit of a letdown month, for those heading to warmer beaches, these gadgets are just what you need for a poolside getaway.

You’ll also find deals on more expensive Kindle models like the Paperwhite, Scribe, and Oasis — all of which offer useful ambient lighting settings, a sharper display, and plenty of storage for your favorite reads (I’m a fan of crime novels).

I admit that I couldn’t do without the ambient lighting on when reading Scribe at night, so the Prime Sale was the perfect opportunity to snag this one for a much lower price.

There are only a few days left until the Prime event begins, so to ensure you get an early start and take advantage of the opportunity right away, I have prepared a detailed schedule for you.

I put the Kindle and the Kindle Paperwhite side by side, comparing the cheaper Kindle with its more expensive counterpart, and also pitted the Paperwhite against the Kindle Oasis.

People interested in tablets of this brand also compared the Amazon Fire tablet with the Kindle. It turned out that the Fire tablet is better suited for playing with children.

To check it out, you can also sign up for Kindle Unlimited and enjoy access to millions of books and audiobooks. In July, you will receive 2 months free.
