Devices with HarmonyOS NEXT Developer Beta Phase 2 (list)

The developer beta of HarmonyOS NEXT has reached its second phase and it’s time to see which devices are taking part in this program. The company has opened the latest software testing activity for 8 flagship models. However, there is a catch.

Many users expected slots for new devices in the second developer beta phase of HarmonyOS NEXT. Although Huawei limited the program to the same smartphones and tablets from the first batch of developer betas.

Please note that changes may occur in compatible base versions. Therefore, here is a list of eligible models along with their compatible base versions.

  • Huawei Mate 60 (BRA-AL00) – 4.2.0.130
  • Huawei Mate 60 Pro (ALN-AL00) – 4.2.0.130
  • Huawei Mate 60 Pro (ALN-AL80) – 4.2.0.130
  • Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ (ALN-AL10) – 4.2.0.130
  • Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design (ALN-AL10) – 4.2.0.130
  • Huawei Mate X5 (ALT-AL10) – 4.2.0.130
  • Huawei Mate X5 Collector’s Edition (ALT-AL10) – 4.2.0.130
  • Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 (PCE-W40) – 4.2.0.213

If you have the models listed above, you can touch HERE and visit the official portals to apply for the beta program. Please note that this testing activity is only available to developers and pioneers (early adopters). Others cannot participate at this time.

You should have at least 8 GB of free space on your phone to continue the update. Also, do not forget to make a full backup of your device. This is a beta version and there is a high chance that important data will be deleted or the system will crash.

Huawei has launched the second phase of the HarmonyOS NEXT developer beta. It seems that this time the company is following the software development roadmap for its users.

Some inputs have revealed that the Pura 70 series is on the verge of adapting to the new software system. As such, the company may open a “second batch” of devices to the HarmonyOS NEXT developer beta program next month.
