Montgomery Connects continues to offer free computers

Montgomery Connects continues to offer free Chromebooks to low-income residents, ages 7 and up, who do not have access to a computer.

Residents must make an appointment to pick up their computer, and previous county recipients are not eligible. A Montgomery County library card number, email address, and phone number are required to register.

To register, residents must complete the Eventbrite form, providing the required information and answering all 23 questions. Each person, including children, must schedule an individual appointment and show up in person with a photo ID. If the ID does not show a current address, additional proof of address is required.

Please ensure all required questions are answered to avoid delays in scheduling. If the form is incomplete, Eventbrite will send you an email.

Registration is available throughout July at various locations around the county:

  • July 11 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Executive Office Building in Rockville
  • July 12th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Aspen Hill Library
