Citigroup Releases Q2 Results: Buy, Sell or Hold?

Citigroup (C) The company’s shares fell more than 2% in early trading on Friday despite beating expectations for second-quarter revenue and net profit.

In the quarter ended June 30Citigroup revenue rose 3.6% year over year to $20.1 billion, which it said was driven by growth across the board, particularly in Banking, US Personal Banking and Markets. Earnings per share (EPS) rose 14.3% to $1.52 from the same period a year earlier.
