Zoho Relies on Apple Mac Devices to Ensure Business Performance and Security

Earlier this year, Apple announced that it was making huge strides across all product categories in India.

Apart from iPhones, Apple Mac devices are also very popular in the subcontinent, as Apple’s CFO Luca Maestri noted during its February earnings press conference.

Now, Sridhar Vembu’s Indian IT company Zoho is deepening its partnership with Apple even further.

He added that most of his more than 15,000 employees prefer Apple devices.

Apple’s latest M Series Silicon computers are powerful enough to run demanding tests while using significantly less power than competing brands.

“Empowering communities and building a strong workforce in India is critical not just for Zoho—but also for our economy and the rural areas that make India India. That’s why we’re choosing Apple technology,” Vembu noted.

Given the size of the iOS/Mac app ecosystem, Zoho leverages Apple tools to build apps for customers around the world.

“I believe we shape our tools and our tools shape us. Using Apple products has changed the way we think and approach product design,” said Rajalakshmi Srinivasan, director of product management at Zoho Corp.

The Apple ecosystem, although called a walled garden, is one of the most secure platforms in the world.

It has the best filtering process to prevent apps containing malware from reaching Apple devices.
