White & Case Advises HDT Automotive Solutions on Acquisition of Veritas

Global law firm White & Case LLP advised HDT Automotive Solutions (HDT) on its acquisition of the business of German automotive supplier Veritas AG (Veritas), its operations in Hungary and its subsidiaries in Mexico, Bosnia and Austria.

Based in the United States, HDT designs, develops and manufactures innovative thermal management systems for the automotive industry. With the acquisition of Veritas, HDT significantly expands its operations, opening a total of five additional locations and gaining additional manufacturing capacity in low-cost regions.

Veritas is a global automotive supplier that specializes in elastomers, plastics and metals for fluid management, thermal and sealing systems. The combined HDT Veritas company now employs more than 5,000 people in 15 locations across North America, Europe and Asia and is a leading supplier to the world’s leading original equipment manufacturers.
