Shrikant Shinde advocates for modernisation of healthcare and education sectors

Shiv Sena MP and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s son Shrikant Shinde has appealed for converting primary health care centres into smart centres with modern equipment and experienced staff.

During a meeting of the district planning committee of Thane constituency chaired by Social Welfare Minister Shambhuraj Desai, Shinde, as MP from Kalyan constituency, presented these recommendations.

Shinde also stressed the need for GPS-enabled ambulances to ensure quick response in emergencies, noting that the district currently lacks a streamlined ambulance deployment system. He suggested a comprehensive dashboard to track ambulance locations and driver information.

Shinde also pressed for the conversion of municipal and district schools into smart model schools with modern facilities. Thane Collector Ashok Shingare assured that a proposal for these initiatives would be submitted within a week.
