Paul George wants media banned from locker rooms, claims reporter looks at players’ private parts

Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George has made it clear he doesn’t like journalists being allowed into NBA locker rooms and is calling for the practice to be banned because it violates their privacy. The 34-year-old also claimed to have seen a journalist looking at players’ penises while he was in the locker room.

By TMZGeorge addressed the issue this week during his Podcast P with Paul George. His comments on the practice come after NFL players also called for locker room interviews to be canceled due to privacy concerns. George said he was in favor of that.

The NBA star noted that while he has many concerns about allowing media into the locker room, one of the things that annoys him about the practice is the way some reporters reportedly looked at his private parts and those of his teammates while they were in this area for interviews.

“I would say the majority of the locker room, bro, is naked (when reporters come in),” George said. “Like, we’re in towels.” We are naked. We just got out of the shower. And then there are these journalists in there and, like, they’re not looking at a wall, you know what I mean? They look at us.

George also pointed the finger at a Washington reporter who was known for looking at “guys’ meat while they’re wearing towels or while they’re changing.” Furthermore, he also said that several journalists were listening to players’ private conversations, leading to the circulation of rumors and unsubstantiated reports.

“I just think it’s just our private place,” the 34-year-old said. “It should be treated like that,” he added before saying, “There should be no one in that space.”

Despite the concerns, it is unclear whether the NBA or NFL will change their media locker room policies.
