South Indian Bank appoints Dolphy Jose as full-time director

South Indian Bank Limited has announced the appointment of Dolphy Jose as Whole Time Director (Executive Director) of the Bank with effect from July 15, 2024.

Dolphy Jose is a seasoned banker with over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. His extensive experience includes retail and commercial banking, including retail assets and liabilities, branch banking, P&L management, and institutional and government business.

Jose is known for his strategic acumen and has a proven track record of building solid distribution channels, establishing strategic partnerships and leveraging digital opportunities to drive business growth.

Jose has previously held senior positions, the most notable of which is his nearly two-decade association with Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., where he rose to the position of Executive Vice President, Institutional Business (Retail Liabilities).

He also worked with Karur Vysya Bank, where he served as CEO and Head of Consumer Banking, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and competencies.
