Philips Unit, DLL accused of blocking access to CPAP financing

De Lage Landen Financial Services Inc. and Philips Medical Capital are facing a lawsuit alleging they denied access to financing and leasing programs needed by respiratory device suppliers to compete in the U.S. market.

Respiratory device suppliers Dynamic Healthcare Services Inc. and Hometown Oxygen Pittsburgh LLC accuse the companies of conspiring to prevent them from purchasing the devices, violating the Sherman Antitrust Act, according to a complaint filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
