Report: T-Mobile to Soon Change Device Insurance Program

T-Mobile has some good news for its customers. While it hasn’t been announced yet, it looks like the Un-carrier is making some positive changes to its device insurance program.

According to Mobile reportUn-carrier will remove the 30-day restriction on enrollment in the Protection 360 (P360) device insurance program. This means that all subscriber customers will be able to enroll in the carrier’s comprehensive protection plan regardless of the date of device purchase.

Before this expected change, the P360 plan had a limited time frame in which customers could register their device. They could only add P360 within 30 days of purchasing the device. But if the report turns out to be true, that 30-day window will be removed. The report also states that the new change could go into effect as early as July 16, so we’ll see if T-Mobile makes an official announcement during the day.

T-Mobile’s P360 insurance program offers a wide range of coverage for registered devices, including theft, loss, hardware failure and accidental damage beyond the standard warranty period. Customers also receive unlimited screen protector replacements as part of the service, making it a valuable addition for device owners.
