NEW DELHI: Fertilizer stocks were trading higher at 10:34 am on Tuesday

Top gainers included Paradeep Phosphates Ltd. (up 4.91%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. (up 2.26%), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd. (up 2.24%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. (up 1.89%), National Fertilizers Ltd. (up 1.63%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. (up 1.49%), Agro Phos India Ltd. (up 1.40%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. (up 1.11%), Aries Agro Ltd. (up 1.02%) and Madras Fertilizers Ltd. (up 1.00%).

Top losers included Rama Phosphates Ltd. (down 0.56%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation Ltd. (down 0.37%) and Sikko Industries Ltd. (down 0.04%).

The NSE Nifty50 index was up 53.9 points at 24,640.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 153.61 points at 80,818.47 around 10:34 am.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 2.91%), Coal India Ltd. (up 2.8%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 2.04%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 1.8%), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 1.62%), Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 1.09%), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 0.93%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (up 0.89%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 0.86%) and Infosys Ltd. (up 0.81%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. On the other hand, shares of Shriram Finance Ltd. (down 1.33%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 1.32%), Nestle India Ltd. (down 1.19%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 0.98%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.65%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (down 0.61%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (down 0.5%), NTPC Ltd. (down 0.42%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (down 0.38%) and UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 0.35%) were trading in the red.
