Samsung AI Push: These Galaxy Devices Will Get New Features With One UI 6.1 Update

Samsung recently confirmed that the One UI 6.1.1 software update will soon be rolling out to select Galaxy devices with several new AI features. However, the company did not reveal which devices will get the new software update. A new report has shed more details on the same thanks to tipster Varun Vats, who talks about the Galaxy devices that will get the AI ​​boost. He mentions that all the flagship Galaxy phones launched from 2022 onwards will receive the One UI 6.1.1 update.

Samsung Galaxy AI features coming to these devices

The new One UI update will soon be available on the following devices:

Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy S22 (+/Ultra) series, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE series, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Tab S8 series and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

The newly launched Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 come with One UI 6.1.1 out of the box, which is generally a minor update. It adds a few new AI features, as well as a larger watermark for AI creations.

The new AI features coming in One UI 6.1.1 have been made public. The update will include several AI features such as Portrait Studio, Sketch to Image, Live Effect, and Motion Clipper.

– Portrait Studio: This update uses AI to convert portrait photos into cartoons and sketches.

– Sketch to Image: This is an AI feature that converts sketches into images.

– Live Effect: This function allows you to transform a 2D image into a 3D image.

– Motion Clipper: Allows users to create GIFs from moving photos.

Additionally, One UI 6.1.1 will also introduce the Expert RAW feature to the new Galaxy Z Flip 6, which will improve image quality in terms of brightness, noise, and other factors.

As mentioned above, the update is coming to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. However, Samsung is yet to provide more information on the update cycle for other Galaxy devices. In India, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 starts at Rs 1,64,999 for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB and 1TB variants are priced at Rs 1,76,999 and Rs 2,00,999 respectively. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is priced at Rs 1,09,999 for the 256GB model and Rs 1,21,999 for the 512GB variant.
