Shalini Passi says Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show reminds her of Krishi Darshan

Art collector Shalini Passi, who features in the recently released streaming series “Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives”, made an unexpected comparison between Kapil Sharma’s popular comedy “The Great Indian Kapil Show” and the classic farm show Doordarshan Krishi Darshan. The entire cast of ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’ recently appeared on Kapil’s show.

Shalini Passi calls The Great Indian Kapil Show as Krishi Darshan

In one of the videos shared by the makers of “The Great Indian Kapil Show”, Shalini recalls her first experience watching Kapil’s show, saying, “When I first saw your show, memories of my grandparents came flooding back to me because I used to watch Krishi Darshan with them.

At this point, Kapil humorously interrupted him and asked, “Do you think our show is similar to that?” To which Shalini clarified: “It just reminded me of my grandparents.”

The third season of “Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives”, renamed “Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, introduced three new Delhi socialites – Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shalini Passi and Kalyani Saha Chawla – to the original Bollywood Wives team of Seema Sajdeh, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Panday and Neelam Kothari.

Shalini Passi, art collector and philanthropist, is the wife of Sanjay Passi, founder of the prominent automobile company PASCO Group.

About The Great Indian Kapil Show

“The Great Indian Kapil Show” features a talented ensemble including Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur and Archana Puran Singh.

Season 2 included appearances from T20 World Cup champions Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, Jr NTR as well as the glamorous Fabulous Bollywood Wives.

The structure of “The Great Indian Kapil” show largely mirrors Kapil Sharma’s previous hit series, The Kapil Sharma Show and Comedy Nights with Kapil, featuring Kapil and his troupe of comedians delivering sketches and interviews with famous guests.
