Microsoft’s success

Microsoft 365 offers us cloud productivity services and applications and is a new version of what we previously knew as Office 365. The difference is that in exchange for a subscription, we no longer only have access to Office programs, but also to a wide range of additional tools designed to improve collaboration, communication and productivity.

Premium Templates

There may be times when it comes time to prepare a CV, a report or design a brochure and you are not sure which format will be best, and that is when Templates will become your best ally.

Word offers us a series of simple and basic templates, but if you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, you can access premium templates completely free. They are ready to use, but You can also use them as a base to create your own template.

The good news is that you will save a lot of time on creating the structure and format of your document, and the end result will be very professional.

Additional cloud storage space

With the free version of OneDrive You only have 5 GB of space in your personal cloud, but by signing a subscription contract you automatically increase the available space.

Depending on your chosen subscription plan, you will receive:

• 1TB.
• 6 TB (1 TB per user).

This means you now have a lot more space to store all your files and documents in one place, ensuring they’re always close at hand. You can use this to back up your most important data and large files and save them to the cloud.

OneDrive Personal Vault

We are still in the cloud because one of the additional Microsoft 365 services is related to this form of storage. If you are worried about someone accessing it and view information or files that you want to protect especially, you can freely use the personal safe function.

It creates an additional layer of security for some files, making them accessible only with a confirmation code, PIN, or other security system of your choice.

With a free plan, you can add up to three files to this vault, but with a Microsoft 365 subscription, capacity is unlimited.

60 Skype minutes per month

Skype has lost some of its popularity due to the rise of other tools such as Zoom and WhatsApp video calls, but it is still very useful.

If you regularly use Skype to make calls to landlines and mobiles, you get 60 free minutes per month for these types of calls when you sign up for a subscription. The bad thing is that unused minutes don’t accumulate from month to month and can only be used to call between certain countries, but it’s still a service useful for a large number of people.

Enhanced security with Microsoft Defender among additional Microsoft 365 services

Microsoft antivirus becomes even more powerful when you subscribe to Microsoft 365. You can protect multiple devices at once and monitor the security of all of them from a unified control panel.

The app is responsible for monitoring your personal data to warn you if your identity has been stolen or if it notices suspicious activity. It also acts as a parental filter, allowing the user to set device usage times and content filtering to which children have access.

Advanced text review

With Microsoft Editor for Microsoft 365 subscribers, you have access to advanced grammar checking features that will help you create increasingly better and more professional texts. A tool that can even suggest vocabulary.

And if you run Copilot in Word, you can increase your productivity and efficiency even further.

If you are using the free version, the scope of support provided via live chat is limited and you may have to wait a long time for help, which does not happen if you are a subscriber. Because in that case you can ask them to call you when the operator is available, which helps avoid unnecessary waiting.
