On Thursday at 2:39 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a frost advisory effective Friday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Gloucester and Camden counties.

“Temperatures dropping to 36 degrees will cause frost to form,” the weather service says. “Frosts are likely in more rural parts of southeast Camden and Gloucester County.”

“Frost could damage sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered,” the weather service comments. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
