'I heard a sound like firecrackers': What Salman Khan said in Bandra house shooting chargesheet
Salman Khan has revealed details of the April 14 shooting at his Bandra home. Two men linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi were shot dead on his balcony. The chargesheet includes Signal chats and statements. Salman now has Y-Plus security.

MUMBAI: Bollywood star Salman Khan he described in detail the events surrounding the shooting at his company Bandra home in Mumbai in April this year.
In an indictment filed earlier this month, the actor accused the gangster, Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang were behind it attack.
On April 14, a motorcyclist and a passenger fired several shots at balcony Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where actor Salman Khan lives.
Special MCOCA Court familiarized himself with the indictment, citing numerous prima facie evidence against the accused.
In his police statement, Salman Khan detailed earlier threats against him and his family. He said, “Earlier too, there were attempts to harm me and my family. I came to know from social media that Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang have claimed responsibility for the attack. So, I believe that it was the Bishnoi gang who carried out the shooting on my balcony.” Due to these threats, Khan advised his family and close associates to be vigilant.
Khan recounted the events of April 14, saying he heard a “sound like a firecracker” while he was sleeping. At 4:55 a.m., his police bodyguard informed him that two men on a bike were shooting at the first-floor balcony of his home. The indictment also contains crucial evidence such as transcripts of a Signal conversation between wanted accused Anmol Bishnoi and gunman Vikas Gupta. In the conversation, Anmol instructed Vikas to shoot judiciously and in a way that would scare ‘Bhai’, referring to Salman Khan.
In his statement, Vikas Gupta said that his co-accused, Sagar Pal, fired the shots at Khan’s first-floor balcony. Vikas described their actions, explaining, “On April 14, Sagar (Pal) and I started from our accommodation in Panvel on a motorcycle, armed with firearms and ammunition. We reached the Galaxy building area around 4.30-5 am. I went alone on the motorcycle to conduct surveillance near Salman’s house. I did not see anyone near the gate. After returning to Sagar to execute the plan, he instructed me that if anyone came in our way, we should eliminate him too. We then drove the motorcycle to the front of the building and Sagar fired the shots.”
Vikas also revealed that he was connected to Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol through Sagar Pal. “Pal was from my village and he told me to come to Jalandhar in search of work. Through Pal, I came in touch with Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol,” he noted.
