High-level Omani delegation visits Pakistan

A high-level delegation representing the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of Oman visited Pakistan.

The delegation was led by the Undersecretary of Investment Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Ibtisam Al Farooji, who was accompanied by representatives of various public and private sectors.

The guests had an opportunity to view detailed information from the Investment Facilitation Board regarding investment opportunities in various sectors and steps taken by the government to improve the overall investment environment in the country.

The delegation held inter-governmental and inter-business meetings and discussed key projects in Pakistan through SIFC and the Ministry of Commerce.

The Omani delegation established contacts with the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and private companies to explore trade and investment opportunities in Pakistan.

During the visit of representatives of the Green Pakistan Initiative operating under SIFC, the delegation expressed great interest in the latest land information and management system and other projects.

The delegation expressed full confidence in the SIFC initiatives and willingness to explore more investment opportunities in Pakistan within the framework of inter-governmental and inter-business cooperation.

The inaugural visit of the Omani delegation was an excellent opportunity for the business communities of both sides to explore opportunities for establishing contacts and cooperation.

This visit will contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation and opening new avenues of economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
