Infinix has partnered with Samsung to utilize the company’s 108MP AI-assisted deep learning lens (AIADLA), which is based on the Samsung ISOCELL image sensor software algorithm.

The Chinese smartphone maker says the improved lens delivers greater clarity, detail, and better image quality in low light.

AIADLA uses Samsung ISOCELL deep learning algorithms to optimize noise reduction and detail reproduction.

With advanced image processing capabilities, the algorithm allows users to take detailed, high-resolution photos even when using their mobile phone’s main camera from a distance.

Notably, AIADLA improves the overall user experience by reducing noise and distortion in low-light conditions, Infinix claims.

AIADLA achieves its results by using a pre-trained image database for AI-assisted calibration during the software mosaic rearrangement process. This innovative approach, which relies on Samsung’s ISOCELL remosaic sensor technology, enables the algorithm to intelligently adapt to different scenes.

This AI innovation will be implemented in upcoming Infinix smartphone models scheduled to be launched soon.

“Our collaboration with Infinix has enabled the development of an advanced AI-based deep learning algorithm that leverages our sophisticated ISCOELL deep learning algorithms,” said Seongwook Song, master of the System LSI sensor architecture team at Samsung Electronics.
