Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero Characters Introduced

NIS America and Nippon Ichi Software have revealed more information about the characters that will appear in Phantom Brave: The Lost Herowhich is in development for the Nintendo Switch console.

From the creators of the Disgaea series, this turn-based, grid-less tactical RPG tells the story of Marona – a gifted young girl with the power to communicate with Phantoms – and Ash, her loyal Phantom companion, as they sail the ocean planet Ivoire, bringing aid to those in need.

After being attacked by a fleet of ghost pirates, Marona and her new friend Apricot must assemble the legendary crew that once defeated these spectral enemies.

In this game, you’ll be able to recruit Phantoms, bind them to items, combine them with gadgets, and even combine them with Marona herself to unleash incredible abilities and sink the Castaway Fleet.

Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero will be released in retail and digitally on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2025.

Marona

A young girl who can talk to Phantoms, the spirits of the dead.

A girl with the extraordinary power to interact with the souls of the dead. Because of this power, she was once despised and called “Possessed” by those around her. However, she is now treated as a hero after saving the world from Sulphur, the Lord of Terror. She is cheerful, optimistic, and kind, and works hard as Chroma to help solve people’s problems.

A young man who supports Marona even after death.

A young Phantom who has acted as Marona’s guardian and partner since her parents died when she was young. He is kind and has a strong sense of justice. Ash is separated from Marona while protecting her from the mysterious Wrecked Fleet.

Apricot

A lonely pirate girl who longs to meet her father.

A lonely ghost girl that Marona meets when she is on Skullrock Island. Her
the swordsmanship taught to her by her heroic pirate father is unmatched. However, due to the lack of opportunity to talk to anyone for many years, she is extremely shy. Encouraged by the optimistic Marona, she decides to find her missing father and revive his pirate crew.
