Still Game star suggests legendary sitcom returns as feature film

STILL Game’s Paul Riley has suggested the sitcom could return as a feature-length film.

The comedy was created by Greg Hemphill, who played the role of Victor and Ferry Kiernan as Jack.

The series aired for nine series, but viewers were left disappointed after the final episode and many demanded the show return.

Paul, 54, said: “I think there’s scope for Still Game. It could be made into a movie, I suppose.

“They’re tough in terms of financing. But the movie thing is Ford and Greg.”

This happened after Paul revealed his plans for America – after performing at a Broadway bar.

The Scot, who played one-legged pensioner Winston, revealed he would swap Craiglang for the Big One Apple in the middle of a row Live to introduce.

Speaking from the 56th floor of his Hell’s Kitchen apartment, he said: “I go to New York all the time.

“I think I could blow America apart. Give me a week and a half.”
