Jaipur: As revenue goals For excise office Although they are growing year by year, achieving them remains a major challenge.
The Department has introduced a new transfer policy aimed at increasing generated revenues and improving operational efficiency.
The policy aims to reward high-performing employees by assigning them to locations with greater revenue potential. Under the proposed policy, employees who consistently exceed revenue targets will be transferred to districts with greater revenue-generating opportunities.
The official said, “For the financial year 2024-25, the revenue target for the excise department is around Rs 17,000 crore, which is increased by around 10-15% every year. There is always a requirement for efficient officials and the new policy aims to address this problem.”

Transfers outside this period will be restricted to exceptional cases such as termination of service, formal grievances or other special needs.
